UNIVERSITY DONOR WALL

Commemorative wall honors mentors with laser cut, etched, and silk-screen printed aluminum graphics.

The Mentor Wall of Honor concept was developed for the University at Buffalo’s Center For Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) office and training facility. OW|EN produced the design to honor the dedication of the mentor and founders of the program. Covering the space of two accent walls behind the receptionist’s desk in the lobby, these (2) 8’ x 4’ wall sections included both of the organization’s logos, their mission and an inspirational quote laser cut in aluminum. The individual letters are pin mounted so they can project from the surface — the floating letters add dimensionality with a subtle shadow.

Displayed on wall one are black and white headshots of the founders and executive leaders, laser etched into aluminum and brass colored panels. Wall two includes the mentors’ names silk-screen printed on small metal plaques, honoring the volunteers who are the heart and soul of the program. As with traditional donor wall designs, space was left to add-on additional name plaques over time.
