Branding and custom vinyl window signage for a local raw juice and natural food cafe.

When Press Food & Juice moved across town, the raw juice & natural food cafe needed a way to announce their presence in the neighborhood. Their custom window signs were based on a visual brand created years earlier by OW|EN. Channeling that brand into environmental graphics, we took the cafe’s distinctive logo and scaled it to over 60” to fill the doorways and windows.

The Press Food & Juice logo was enlarged and produced as adhesive vinyl decals, then adhered to their storefront windows
The Press Food & Juice logo utilized an old school newspaper reproduction technique, rendering the hand press graphic as a series of lines

The logomark was developed by photographing the owner’s vintage hand press, then digitizing the art by applying an old-school newspaper reproduction technique that transformed it into a series of solid black lines. Since the art was going to take up a large percentage of the glass windows, we printed it in a frosty, transparent white vinyl to allow light to shine through.

Vinyl graphics were designed by OW|EN for Press Food & Juice, displaying the cafe's logo on their glass paneled door

Before committing to the color and print technique, OW|EN’s  production team printed several sample vinyl swatches which were tested on-site to determine the best density vs. transparency. The custom typography of the wordmark was added on the two side windows, flanking the entranceway. The vinyl signage was applied on-site by our experienced team of installers.
