BRANDED COOLER GRAPHICS

Vinyl graphics for sponsored produce coolers promote healthy eating.

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and the Cornell Cooperative had a plan to promote healthy eating habits in Buffalo by donating small coolers to local corner stores. The coolers would be sent to neighborhoods in food deserts, to provide residents with easy access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy prepared meals.

BCBS ordered four large coolers, but wanted to wrap them before delivery with vinyl graphics to promote their brand. OW|EN worked under a tight production and delivery timeline to make sure the project ran smoothly. We started by taking detailed measurements of the coolers, which came in a tall size with a backlit top panel, and a shorter open-fronted size.

The client sent us their initial layout comps and brand assets, which we developed into graphic panels designed to fit the various cooler dimensions. We had the art printed and installed in the warehouse, then coordinated the delivery of the coolers to their destinations.

When BCBS changed their branding to Highmark the following year, we updated the original artwork on-file and created revised graphics to reflect the merger, scheduled printing, and managed reinstallation.
